Teachers: The lessons in the manual contain more information than you will probably be able to teach in one class period. Seek the Spirit of the Lord in selecting the scripture accounts, questions, and other lesson materials that best meet the needs of class members.

President Gordon B. Hinckley gave this moving testimony of the Savior: "None so great has ever walked the earth. None other has made a comparable sacrifice or granted a comparable blessing. He is the Savior and the Redeemer of the world. I believe in Him. I declare His divinity without equivocation or compromise. I love Him. I speak His name in reverence and wonder" ("In These Three I Believe," Ensign, July 2006, 7).

Story
With your class, you could read and discuss a story about the personal experience of a young man who found his foundation in the Savior as he struggled through military basic training. See Steven D. Brown, "Finding My Firm Foundation," Ensign, Aug. 2006, 54–55. Download this article or listen to it online in MP3 format.
Additional Helps
- This lesson is an opportunity to discuss and understand the specificity and clarity of Isaiah’s vision of the Restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ in the last days.
- To learn how to involve your students in more meaningful discussions, read "Conducting Discussions," in Teaching, No Greater Call, pages 63–65.
- Remember, your own personal witness of Jesus Christ as our Savior and Redeemer will be an important conclusion to this lesson. You may want to encourage the students, as you conclude your lesson, to think of one thing they can do to increase their love for the Savior. You could suggest that they write this idea on a piece of paper and then refer to it often throughout the week.
